Briowireless – Turning your IoT project into reality

Based on the Gemalto modules, Briowireless’ BitPipe family facilitates integration of wireless connectivity to your IoT solution. The BitPipe devices are a combination of the BitPipe IoT interface and Modem family and provides flexibility needed to adapt to your IoT solution quickly and accelerate your time to market. The BitPipe devices have two modes of operation: autonomous and modem mode. In other words an external processor can be added if needed. Once integrated into your design, your IoT solution will become multi-networks compatible; hence, your IoT solution will become easily adaptable to new connectivity requirements or needs, without compromising critical time on migration issues.

The Bit Pipe Modem family includes:
- 2 in 1: UART Modem and Autonomous Terminal
- 4.75V to 18V power input
- 2.5V to 3.3V IO support
- Embedded IP stack
- -40°C to + 85°C
- 30 mm x 40 mm x 7.4 mm
- U.FL connectors available
- Micro SIM
- MQTT-ready
- Carrier approvals: AT&T, Bell, Rogers, Telus

These features are available for a 4G LTE Cat 1 solution or 3G with fallback to 3G and 2G respectively.

BitPipe IoT interface Development Kit features:
• Micro-SIM card socket
• Embedded IP stack
• Communication interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, PWM
• 4 GPIOs
• MQTT ready
• SMA Connector

The BitPipe Development Kit is available in 3 formats: one with the BC3G-US-SMA cellular modem and the other two options include the 4G or 3G BitPipe modem. The development kit provides an easy way to test the BitPipe cellular modules. The BitPipe Cellular Test Tool is designed to help test all the functionalities of the modem and perform cellular communication within minutes.
